The Children's Fundamental Firearm Safety Class is designed to teach basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a firearm safely. This class is 2-4 hours long and can be adjusted for the individual student's needs. Students learn NRA's rules of safe firearm handling, the operating of a firearm, shooting fundamentals, and proper storage of a firearm.

The cost of the Children's Fundamental Firearm Safety Class is $60 per person.
The instructor can accompany the student to a gun range for live firing of a pistol upon completion of the class and the written exam. All of the costs at the gun range are to be paid by the student, including the range fee and ammunition. The student can fire his/her own personal firearm, borrow a pistol from the instructor, or rent a firearm from the gun range.
A parent or guardian must be present during the class and must accompany all children to the gun range.
